Have a rare item that you're looking to sell? Place it with us, in our consignment auction and we'll help you sell it for top dollar.
Below you'll find the Consignment Terms & Conditions for the Daily Silent Auction. Please see a Redlands Thrift Store associate with any questions or concerns. A Consignee Membership Number is Required (No Charge) and a Redlands Thrift Consignment Agreement must be signed before leaving your items.
Acceptance of items:
We prefer to accept consignment items when supervisor staff is available on Tuesdays. If you're not able to make it on a Tuesday, please call ahead to arrange a time for processing your items. If you have large items, please call ahead even if coming on Tuesday (No items accepted on Sundays). We have found that bidders prefer unique and hard to find items.
Pricing the items:
Standard minium bid is $5.00. To prevent unrealistic bid minimums, minimums greater than $5.00 must have supervisor staff approval.
Items w/o bids:
If an item on consignment receives no bids, must be picked up promptly and will not be placed in the auction again.
Length of Auction:
Items are normally up for auction 7 days.
Payment to Consignee:
Consignees are not paid until the item is paid for by the winning bid customer. Consignees will be paid within 36 hours from the time the consignment item has been paid for by the customer or until the entire consigners lot has been paid for. Consignees will not be paid for items on the Ending Dae of Auction. To avoid confusion, please do not ask staff for consignee payment between 5:30pm & 6:30pm.
There is a $1.00 processing fee for each item listed and a consignment fee of 35% of the high bid payment received will be charged on each item.
Item handling, Breakage, Lost or Stolen:
All consignment items are handled with due care, but under no circumstances is Redlands Thrift Store responsible for breakage, damaged, lost or stolen items.
